Collaborations take center stage at Jack Daniel's Future Legends Class Act – photo gallery

The second leg of Jack Daniel's Future Legends Class Act featured the A Spur of the Moment Project roster and BP Valenzuela. The one-night-only affair showcased one-off collaborations between Tom's Story, tide/edit, Fools and Foes, Run Dorothy, and BP.

It was a treat not just for the audience, but for the musicians involved in the project. We asked some of the acts to share with us their favorite moments - from rehearsals to the collaborations.

My favorite would have to be the pre-show preps. This was really a team effort and it was nice to witness everyone working together. I really feel that this experience has brought us a lot closer."

Sobrang saya nung idea ng collaborations and really happy to have worked with Dee on a song! THANK YOU DEE! Yung event na yun brought everyone closer. We've been friends for more than 2 years already pero I think yung experience namin working together for that event ay isa sa mga memorable experience namin lahat ng tao. Kasi after nun ay nakikipagusap sa bawat isa, hindi lang natatapos sa apir."

- Clarence Garcia, tide/edit

I loved how all the bands were given such a challenge in terms of collaborating and transitioning from band to band smoothly just to give everyone a good show. Believe me — this is something we really worked hard on! Such a good experience. I also loved the crowd! They were sooo into it.

- Isabelle Romualdez, Fools and Foes

The transitions between bands, especially Tom’s Story last song to our first song! And of course the collabs, challenging mag sulat ng 2 new songs at the same time (Run Dorothy w/ Migs + Tide/edit w/ me) but satisfying and amazing that we were able to pull it off!

Sobrang plus na lang talaga sa dreams namin na nagkatotoo yung round set-up namin without any technical problems!

- Dee Cruz, Run Dorothy

My favorite thing about the event is that it felt like an actual class project (in school) put together by great groupmates and producers, alike. We really did it so that everyone can enjoy - the bands and the audience.

- Degs de Guia, Tom's Story

I really liked the circular stage, having people be that close to us –– but I really loved working with Li and the rest of the bands. I look up to them as musicians and friends, so working with them on new things wasn't scary, but it felt intimate and homey.

- BP Valenzuela

The 7 collaborative songs are available for download for one day only starting today at 12 PM. Get them here.
