League of Legends: Wild Rift is throwing a massive celebration for its 5-year anniversary, and they’re doing it with style—and music.
Teaming up with NINGNING of aespa, Riot Games has announced a brand-new anthem titled ‘Miss This Life’, an electrifying electro-pop track featuring Fairlane that captures the journey of Wild Rift players through the years—from university dorms to real-life adulting. The song hits all the emotional checkpoints: nostalgia, growth, and the high energy that fans love from the game and the K-pop star alike.
Set to debut in-game and across streaming platforms, the track is paired with a cinematic music video that features iconic champion moments and nods to the global Wild Rift community.
“We wanted to celebrate not just the game, but the people who play it,” shared David Xu, Executive Producer of Wild Rift. “NINGNING’s ‘Miss This Life’ captures the nostalgia and emotion of our journey together over the last five years.”
That’s not all: Nidalee, the fierce huntress from League of Legends, joins the Wild Rift champion lineup, adding a wild twist to jungle gameplay. Meanwhile, fan-favourite mode AAARAM gets a new set of pro player-inspired Augments to shake things up.
Also expanding is Wild Rounds: SMASH, the game’s grassroots competitive series that now spans over 20 regions. Next stop? Vietnam, from 14 to 16 November, where thousands of players will duke it out to celebrate community, competition, and five epic years of Wild Rift.
