AFA Creators Super Fest to make Singapore debut this July — here's what to expect

AFA Creators Super Fest (AFA CSF) will be arriving in Singapore this month.

Set to be held at Singapore Expo's Hall 5 from 10 AM to 8 PM on 22 and 23 July, the first edition of the festival to be held in the Lion City will be a gathering of more than 350 international artists and creators from across the gaming, music, art, and cosplay communities. 

Organised by SOZO, the company behind Anime Festival Asia (AFA), AFA CSF will feature a variety of activities that pop culture and art enthusiasts can check out during its two-day run. 

Festival-goers who are hoping to immerse themselves in live entertainment can head over to the Super Akiba Stage to check out music performances, talk shows, and showcases. Guest artists who will be making appearances on this stage include Singaporean singer-songwriters AIJOU and Ben Hum, Australian stunt actor Ladybeard, Thai YouTuber MindaRyn, visual artist LAM, cosplayers Xiaoyukiko, Amelia Khor, and Knite, and more.

Over at the Creators Hub, attendees can check out artwork, apparel, and merchandise from creators such as Singaporean artist Sherms, Malaysian illustrator and comic artist Peach88, fan art and looping animation artist Demonicas, and illustration outfit Daiyaku.

Those who wish to meet their favourite cosplayers can do so at the Cosplay Hub, an area that will host 38 familiar names from the region's cosplay scene. These include Ain Nguyen, Boiled Curry, Momoko Pigsfly, Ristelle, Yosuke, Miho, YingTze & Prestonles, and more. Festival-goers will also be able to purchase merchandise from guest cosplayers at the Cosplay Hub.

Additionally, there will be a variety of workshops for attendees looking for a more educational experience. Those who visit AFA CSF's Creators Lab can learn more about building plastic model kits, cosplay photography and styling, illustration and 3D sculpting, as well as streaming and Vtubing. 

Single-day tickets to AFA CSF are priced at SGD19 while two-day tickets are priced at SGD36. All tickets are available for purchase via Ticketmaster.
