After the release of his english album Sonder, the Indonesian R&B sensation Afgan has released a compelling new music video for 'Criminal (Over You)', featuring Vietnamese American R&B artist thủy. Known for his evocative voice and storytelling, Afgan captures the raw emotions of regret and lost love, with visuals shot separately in Indonesia and Los Angeles to emphasize the distance between two characters in a strained relationship.
“thủy is amazing; she jumped on the song last minute and just elevated the whole thing. Her voice blends perfectly with the song, and I’m so grateful for the collaboration,” Afgan shared. The video, directed by his longtime collaborator, uses projections to highlight the emotional distance between the lovers portrayed in the song.
Reflecting on the project, thủy said, “I’m already a huge fan, so I said yes immediately after hearing the song. I think it’s relatable to anyone dealing with a relationship that keeps pulling them back in.”

Afgan’s fans in Singapore can look forward to seeing him live on 15 November, at The Star Theatre, where he’s set to perform tracks from Sonder alongside fan favorites. The concert promises an immersive experience, showcasing Afgan's latest work and signature passion on stage.
