SB19 have officially etched their names into music history. On 31 July, the five-piece became the first-ever P-pop act to perform at Lollapalooza, taking over the Allianz Stage in Chicago with a high-energy 10-song set that marked another milestone for Filipino music on the global festival circuit.
Opening with 'DAM', the group powered through fan favourites including 'GENTO', 'Lawless', 'Emoji', 'MAPA', 'Wakas', 'Visa', 'Dungka!', and 'Crimzone'. They also gave audiences an exclusive preview of 'Mga Kababayan', their rendition of the late Francis Magalona classic, which is set to appear on the soundtrack of DreamWorks Animation's upcoming film Forgotten Island.
One of the biggest moments of the set came during 'Dungka!', when Chicago Bulls mascot Benny the Bull surprised fans by joining SB19 onstage, adding a distinctly Chicago touch to the group's landmark festival debut.
Following the performance, the quintet shared their gratitude with fans, writing: "What an unforgettable experience! We hope we made an impact, and we're beyond proud to represent the Philippines at Lollapalooza. Maraming salamat."
Rather than arriving at Lollapalooza in isolation, SB19's festival debut capped off one of the biggest weeks of the group's international career to date.
Ahead of the landmark performance, the quintet took the stage at the GRAMMY Museum's Global Spin Live in Los Angeles, where they performed 'GENTO' and 'Wakas' before taking part in a Q&A session about their journey and mission to bring Filipino music to the world.

Reflecting on the evening, the group shared, "The GRAMMY Museum gave us more than a stage. It gave us another reason to keep dreaming bigger. Last night was proof that our journey continues and that our mission to bring Filipino music to the world is far from over."
The milestones continued in Chicago, where member Josh represented the group by throwing the ceremonial first pitch before the Chicago White Sox's game against the New York Yankees. The appearance made SB19 the first Filipino group to receive the honour at a Major League Baseball game, adding yet another international first to their growing list of achievements.

Back home, the celebrations unfolded alongside the performance as thousands of A'TIN gathered for organised livestream watch parties across the Philippines. Hundreds of fans turned up before dawn at the Department of Tourism's free public screening at Rizal Park in Manila, while additional viewing events in Pampanga, Bacolod, Davao, Pasig, Cebu, and Cagayan de Oro transformed the early morning broadcast into a nationwide celebration.
The performance was also streamed globally via Disney+ and Weverse, while demand for local fan events remained high. Puregold's exclusive "A'TIN A'TIN Lang" watch party reportedly filled all 300 slots in under 30 minutes.
The celebrations are far from over. SB19 will next head to Japan for their I WaS There Thanksgiving Fan Meet at KT Zepp Yokohama before making another major festival appearance at Summer Sonic 2026, where they'll perform at both the Osaka and Tokyo editions on 14 and 15 August.
With their Lollapalooza debut now in the books, SB19 have delivered more than a historic first—they've capped off a remarkable week that saw the group perform on the Grammy Museum stage, step onto an MLB field, and introduce P-pop to one of the world's biggest music festivals, further cementing Filipino artists' growing presence on the global stage.
