Alanis Morisette's concert in Manila is finally happening!
After being postponed in 2021 and 2022, the award-winning singer-songwriter's one-night concert will take place at the Mall of Asia Arena on Tuesday, 1 August 2023.
The concert is a celebration of the 28th anniversary of her album Jagged Little Pill, her third studio album where hits 'You Oughta Know', 'Hand In My Pocket', and 'Ironic' are from.
Prior to being postponed due to the lockdown, the event was supposed to celebrate the silver anniversary of the said album, its influence and acclaim. In 1996, Jagged Little Pill won five GRAMMY Awards, including Album of the Year. In 2019, a musical of the same name debuted on Broadway.
Morisette's 2023 Manila concert is presented by Ovation Productions. Gates to the show open at 8:00 PM. Tickets are available via SM Tickets. Prices range from PHP 2,750 to PHP 14,750.
Those who still have tickets to the cancelled 2020 show will still be able to use their tickets for this year's concert, but refunds are available for those who wish to purchase a new ticket. Refunds can be availed at the Mall Of Asia Arena ticket office from 17 to 23 April 2023, from 10 AM to 5 PM PHT.
