BTS will continue as a group in 2025.
Today (20/9), HYBE revealed that after passing a board resolution, all seven members of BTS – RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook – will be renewing their exclusive contracts with BIGHIT MUSIC.
The members will be signed sequentially, and will continue to work with BIGHIT MUSIC for their group and solo activities. Jin and j-hope, who are currently fulfilling their military service, will have completed their military duty by the start of their renewed contracts in 2025.
In a statement, HYBE shared, "With the renewal of their contracts, we are looking forward to supporting BTS' group activities expected in 2025," and added, "HYBE and BIGHIT MUSIC will provide all support necessary to continue to expand and elevate BTS' presence."
BIGHIT MUSIC also donated 1 billion KRW to the Korean Committee for UNICEF, as a thank you to BTS and ARMY (fans of BTS). The donation has been made as a part of the LOVE MYSELF campaign, which launched in November 2017 in collaboration with BTS.
The global superstars debuted with BIGHIT in 2013, and have since taken over the global pop scene with their multitudes of awards, record-breaking music sales, and sold-out performances across the globe. The members are currently in Chapter 2 of their career, focusing on their solo endeavours, and beginning mandatory military service. Watch BTS with 'Take Two':
