TAEMIN just made history — and brought K-pop courtside while he was at it. On 20 February, Amazon Music livestreamed its latest edition of Amazon Music presents: In the Paint, featuring the South Korean icon as the first K-pop artist to take the spotlight on the series.
Airing during NBA Nightcap, the NBA on Prime postgame show on Prime Video, the performance saw TAEMIN deliver a reimagined version of his acclaimed track ‘Sexy in the Air’ in the series’ signature cinematic, courtside setting — a seamless fusion of music and basketball culture.
Fans were also treated to the live debut of his unreleased single ‘Long Way Home’, now available exclusively on the Amazon Music app.
The episode marks TAEMIN’s first live performance since his sold-out TAEMIN LIVE [Veil] in Las Vegas concert at Dolby Live at Park MGM. Riding this momentum, he is set to represent K-pop at Coachella as the only male solo artist from the genre on this year’s lineup.

In the Paint continues to bridge sport and sound by reimagining artists’ essential tracks in an immersive broadcast format — with one performance airing during NBA on Prime and another made available exclusively on the Amazon Music app. TAEMIN follows previous featured acts Clipse, Nas, and YG.
