AMPERS&ONE are back once again with a bold new era as they unveil their fourth mini album DEFINITION. Following their Born to Define 2026 AMPERS&ONE Live Tour in the U.S., the band is finally back with new music and they brought that unmistakable charisma and alluring confidence back tenfold.
DEFINITION marks not only a new release, but a chapter of growth as they define their sonic identity as artists and chart the path that they are set to take as they embark on bigger and better projects. Defined by the core theme of the album "& NOW, WE ARE HERE", the band cements the idea that DEFINITION is beyond an album but a depiction of the artists that AMPERS&ONE have become after their evolution with each endeavour.
The title track 'GOD' sets the stage for the entire record as it goes back to their roots incorporating traditional Korean elements into the track. The word "God", refers to both a deity and a traditional Korean hat, "Gat". They tie in their culture through the dynamic choreography in the music video as well as they flow through the traditional Korean dance with ease and suave while preserving the haunting and dark sound the track exudes.
Sonically, the track creates a booming atmosphere as it is built on a high octane trap beat with ethnic synths and an edgy touch. Members KAMDEN and MACKIAH contributed to the lyrics of every track on the album, including 'GOD,' strengthening its cohesion and embedding the group’s identity throughout.
The six-track album is a testament to the group coming into their own as they root their identity in culture and standards, ultimately presenting a more defined and confident artistic direction that reflects both their growth and ambition. With DEFINITION, AMPERS&ONE solidify who they are in the present while laying the groundwork for where they are headed next, marking an exciting new phase in their evolving journey.
