Anime Festival Asia Hong Kong 2026 has been postponed, the organisers have confirmed.
In an announcement shared online, the team revealed that Anime Festival Asia Hong Kong 2026, which was originally scheduled to take place on 14 – 15 February at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, will no longer go ahead on its planned dates.
“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and greatly appreciate your understanding and support,” the organisers stated.

For now, no new dates or replacement schedule have been announced, and there has been no additional information regarding ticketing arrangements, refunds, or whether the event will return later in the year. Fans are advised to keep an eye on AFA’s official website and social media channels for further updates.
Anime Festival Asia is one of Asia’s most established anime and J-pop culture festivals, known for bringing together major anisong concerts, Japanese pop culture showcases, cosplay events, and guest appearances by voice actors and creators. The Hong Kong edition has been a key stop for regional fans, making the postponement a disappointing update for many who were planning to attend.
