AnimeJapan 2026 is shaping up to be the best instalment of the exhibition ever as it boasts an amazing lineup of titles, consisting of some of the biggest anime of this generation. The 13th edition of the event will be taking place at the East Exhibition Halls of Tokyo Big Sight on 28 and 29 March.

This year’s edition of the festival foresees a record turnout as it features the largest-ever floor space and participation from over 120 exhibitors, the highest number to date. For the second year in a row, Sakurazaka46 will serve as AnimeJapan 2026 Ambassadors, building anticipation for the main event and the Manga 'We Want to See Animated Ranking 2026' awards ceremony on 4 March.
Look forward to new announcements, talks, and live performances centred around the incredible lineup that includes titles such as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba, ONE PIECE, Jujutsu Kaisen, Dr. Stone: Science Future, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, and many more. With the four stages featuring RED STAGE, GREEN STAGE, BLUE STAGE, and WHITE STAGE, catch performances and panels relating to your most beloved anime.
In addition to the amazing lineup, attendees also get to enjoy amazing attractions and activities during the event. Get your hands on official exclusive merch that feature some of your favourite characters, in unique collaborations where Japanese traditional crafts meet illustrators and anime. Additionally, there will also be a Production Works Gallery, possibly giving fans the chance to meet the producers who brought them some of their favourite anime.
That’s not all, fans can check out the first-ever travelling CDEF Cosplayer’s World, featuring immersive photo spots, interactive activities, and full cosplayer facilities. The beloved AJ Food Park also makes its return with 10 food stalls across the venue, plus a special Animate collaboration food truck to keep attendees fuelled. Rounding out the experience is the AJ Digital Stamp Rally, where visitors can hunt down key visual character standees, collect digital stamps, snap photos, and explore every corner of the event.
In addtion to these wonderful activities and vendors expect to see various booths by organisations such as Netflix, avex pictures, ANIPLEX, Earth Star Entertainment, ufotable, MAPPA, Universal Entertainment Japan and many other standout names in the world of anime production and broadcasting.
