Indonesian R&B powerhouse ANNISYA returns with a brand new EP entitled Femme Fatale.
The 4-track gem, which emerged from an intensive songwriting camp, explores the multifaceted nature of being a
woman. Femme Fatale subverts and expands upon the traditional understanding of the term to highlight not just the allure and power of women but also the oft-ignored complexities and darker realities of womanhood.

“This EP was massively based off of collaborations,” says ANNISYA. "From songwriting to visual assets and technical aspects of the release, the EP is a testament to the power of teamwork. Longtime collaborator and producer Fathan Maulana along with Ezra Kunze played crucial roles in bringing Femme Fatale to life. “Fathan and I grew together as musicians.
Doni Joesran and Tommy Pratomo from the jazz ensemble Batavia Collective are also featured. "After getting to know each other for a while, I built up the courage to ask if they wanted to participate in my EP, and they immediately said yes!" she recalls.
"Even if you are not a woman, I hope this record serves as a reminder for you to keep embracing all contradicting sides of yourself, much like how all the songs on this record are alter egos of one another,” ANNISYA concludes.
Femme Fatale is available for streaming now on all digital platforms.
