Apple Music has launched its 2022 So Far: Top Tracks and Trends playlist.
To put the spotlight on the music that has shaped 2022 so far, Apple Music released its mid-year companion playlist featuring the five trends in streaming, ranging from Gen-Z pop, sampling, to K-pop.
Whether it's the massive return of sampling in hip-hop, Africa's influence on global pop, or the return of drum 'n' bass, a lot has already happened in 2022.

Apple Music's five trends in streaming include Gen-Z Pop Embraces the Classic, Introspective Ballad, The Revival of Bad Boy Style Sampling, The Sounds of Afrobeats, Alté, and Amapiano Continue to Travel, Drum ’n’ Bass Gets a Long-Overdue Rewind, and K-Pop’s Global Expansion Continues.
The music on the 2022 So Far: Top Tracks and Trends feature Beyoncé's brand-new single 'BREAK MY SOUL', Harry Styles's comeback offering 'As It Was', aespa's entry to their next era 'Illusion', NCT DREAM's chart-topping single 'Beatbox', and the lead single of LE SSERAFIM's debut EP 'FEARLESS'.
Future's 'WAIT FOR U' with Drake and Tems, Jack Harlow's record-breaking single 'First Class', Glass Animals' breakout hit 'Heat Waves', Bad Bunny's Global Daily Top 100 song 'Titi Me Pregunto', and GAYLE's viral single 'abcdefu', are also on the playlist.
