Scheduled to take place on 13 June at Van Phuc City, the festival marks the first-ever Face-to-Face performance between the two trance acts. The show also forms part of the 25th anniversary celebrations for A State of Trance, the long-running radio platform and event series founded by Armin van Buuren. According to organisers, more than 10,000 attendees from over 50 countries have already been confirmed ahead of the event.

For over two decades, Armin van Buuren has remained one of the defining names in electronic music through his productions, global tours, and A State of Trance broadcasts, which currently reach millions of listeners across more than 80 countries. Sharing the stage with him is Amsterdam-based DJ and producer KI/KI, who has rapidly emerged as one of the most talked-about artists in contemporary trance and rave culture.

The upcoming collaboration follows the pair’s work on the official anthem for Amsterdam Music Festival 2025. KI/KI has also built momentum through major performances including a back-to-back set with Job Jobse at Lowlands, alongside recognition such as becoming the first woman to win the Dutch Edisons Pop Award.

Beyond the headline performance, the festival’s lineup also includes Ruben de Ronde, Nifra, Cosmic Gate, and Ferry Corsten presents Gouryella. Scottish songwriter is also slated to make a special appearance following her collaboration with Armin van Buuren on ‘Set Me Free’, which earned Trance Song of the Year at the 2026 EDM Awards.

With its debut edition in Ho Chi Minh City, A State of Trance Vietnam 2026 marks a milestone moment for the global trance community, uniting iconic figures and rising talents under one celebration of the genre’s enduring evolution. Hosting a historic first-time collaboration as a headliner, the festival not only honours 25 years of A State of Trance but also signals the continued growth and global reach of electronic music culture across new territories and audiences.
