In a sensational collaboration, Moon Sua and Siyoon of acclaimed K-pop girl group Billlie team up with ARrC for their electrifying single album CTRL+ALT+SKIID. The record features the previously teased title track 'SKIID' alongside the collaboration track 'WoW (Way of Winning)'.
Hyunmin captures his perspective on the collaboration as he shares, “This collaboration went beyond just working together—it was a time that inspired me greatly musically.”
Pioneering a new kind of groove with the title track 'SKIID', ARrC introduces fans to "SKIID rhythm," which came to life by placing a unique upbeat on the snare within a 4/4 rhythm. With the overall stripped-back and minimalistic vibe of the track, the song allows the charismatic vocals and distinct character of the lyrics to shine through even brighter. The standout elements of the track make it a rich and dynamic soundscape.
Each verse and each beat adds a stroke to the overall picture of the lives of teenagers who feel trapped in life’s repetitive cycles—endless exams, competitions, and moments of helplessness—like they’re stuck in constant "errors". The septet uses lingo such as "404" and “system down” to really drive home the spiral of encountering error after error and how that can take a toll on their mental health, especially at such a young age.
Playing on the familiar "CTRL+ALT+DEL" command, the band replaces "DEL" with "SKIID" to create their own symbolic form of reboot, smears, and loops. Amidst the chaos, lyrics like 'turn it back on' and 'reboot everything' convey a playful yet realistic message of resilience—even when facing countless hurdles, always remember to keep restarting and moving forward.
The second track 'WoW (Way of Winning) (with MOON SUA X SIYOON)' is a classic high-octane pop track with heavy house influences—bound to make listeners want to get up and dance. The track’s minimal structure echoes the sentiment of the first track, as it puts more focus on the deep-seated character and intricate sonic arrangement.
The song portrays a mindset of choosing to "Restart" rather than succumb to "Game Over." The lyrics support this narrative as they say, “an anti-climax with no finish line” and “Game over ain’t over,” reflecting the ironic pressures of youth while capturing Gen Z’s rebellious spirit, resilience, and aloof nature as they navigate life.
ARrC member Andy expresses his sentiments on the collaboration as he muses, "Working with Moon Sua and Siyoon was a meaningful experience, where I learned how to truly enjoy performing on stage.”

Moon Sua and Siyoon add their experiences with this collaboration as they share, "As musicians who love music, it was a great experience to share this creative journey together. I hope that our collaboration on 'WoW (Way of Winning)' serves as a meaningful opportunity for growth for all of us.” Siyoon adds, "Inspired by ARrC’s passion, I really enjoyed recording and working on this track. It’s a song where different generations and emotions naturally come together, and I hope many people will listen and connect with it.”
With CTRL+ALT+SKIID, ARrC not only pushes the boundaries of their sound but also bridges generations and musical styles through this vibrant collaboration with Moon Sua and Siyoon.
