The ASEAN Music Showcase Festival is returning this September.
In an effort to keep regional artists proactive and thriving in the scene despite the ongoing pandemic, AMS will be offering musicians the opportunity to find their place on the world stage.
The event will be premiering on September 11-12, 2021 with a special opportunity for up-and-coming acts to take part in virtual speed meetings with over 30 global industry professionals on September 13, 2021.
AMS co-founder and Director of Educational, Governmental, and Overseas Partnership of Fungjai, Piyapong ‘Py’ Muenprasertdee, shares in a statement, "Because of the pandemic, many showcase festivals around the world are going online, which means artists don't need to spend money on travel and accommodation to join—and consequently, international music professionals and talent buyers need to hop on this virtual online landscape as well—opening the door of opportunity to more export-worthy artists."
The ASEAN Music Showcase Festival will also feature live performances from 28 Southeast Asian musical acts. More details to be announced soon.
