It's time to reenter the animus.

With the recent launch of Assassin's Creed Mirage, Ubisoft Music has released more music from the game with The Sounds of Mirage, composed by Nima Fakhrara. The 9-track offering follows the release of the game's original soundtrack, composed by Brendan Angelides.

The Assassin's Creed Mirage soundtrack features musicians deeply connected with the region and culture the game is based on, including the likes of Tunisian artist Emel Mathlouthi, Iraqi-born Jordanian violinist and Artistic Director for the New York Arabic Orchestra Layth Sidiq, and Palestinian composer and orchestrator Akram Haddad.

"The Mirage score captures a story of transformation by blending old world instrumentation with new world tech," Brendan Angelides shares in a statement. "Musicians from Iraq, Egypt, Palestine, Israel, and Tunisia were blended with electronics throughout the OST and are featured alongside The New York Arabic Orchestra. Capturing the thriving cultural center of Baghdad, feeling the sand, the dunes and the ever-present danger associated with AC were all elements woven into the music."

Assassin’s Creed Mirage follows the tale of Basim Ibn Ishaq, a cunning street thief in 9th century Baghdad, who goes on to join an ancient organization called The Hidden Ones and becomes a Master Assassin. It is now available to play on PlayStation, XBOX, and PC.
