ATARASHII GAKKO! are coming back with their debut album this July.
Titled AG! Calling, the album will be released via 88rising on 7 June. AG! Calling explores the theme of “Calling” using the Japanese word “korin [降臨]", signifying both "calling" and "to descend" or "to arrive."

This idea is central to the album, symbolising the band’s presence as they delve into different aspects of life. As seen on the album cover, the girls will “metaphorically land in different dimensions of existence” while acting as supportive and encouraging friends to inspire listeners to “embrace their unique potential.”
What's more, a new song titled 'FLY HIGH' from the album will be featured as the opening theme for the upcoming Netflix crossover animated film, Baki Hanma VS Kengan Ashura. The film is set to be released on 7 June and will showcase epic battles between iconic characters from Keisuke Itagaki's BAKI and Yabako Sandrovich's KENGAN ASHURA.

2024 has been nothing short of exciting for the ‘Tokyo Calling’ act. Coachella 2024 saw enthralling performances of the pop-progressive girl group through solo sets, which closed out the Gobi stage on both weekends, and an appearance in 88rising Futures.

In addition to the release of their latest album, the girl group unveiled the dates for PT. II of their 2024 World Tour. After wrapping up PT. I of their World Tour in Singapore, the group will embark on the North America leg of the tour, covering major venues from the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago to Pepsi Center in Mexico City.
