BABYMONSTER are back with their second mini album, WE GO UP, signalling a bolder, more aggressive direction for the septet. Where earlier releases danced between pop, rap, and balladry, WE GO UP leans all in on hip-hop.
The title track — also named ‘WE GO UP’ — is a cinematic, swagger-laced anthem driven by booming bass and intense choreography.
Across four tracks, the EP pulls no punches. It trades in softness for punchy beats, sharper rap lines, and performance-first energy.
Visually, the comeback leans into blockbuster-style aesthetics — dramatic sets, fast cuts, and narrative staging that mark a step up from their debut.
To celebrate the release, BABYMONSTER are hosting a live broadcast at 8 PM KST on 10 October. Rather than a full showcase performance, the event focuses on behind-the-scenes stories, music breakdowns, and fan Q&As — giving fans direct access to the group’s creative process.
Since debuting in 2024, BABYMONSTER have earned attention for their genre-spanning sound and strong performance chops. Their first full-length album Drip showcased range — but WE GO UP feels like a mission statement.
