BABYMONSTER's label YG Entertainment announced that Rami will not be participating in the group's upcoming Asia tour, starting with their Singapore show on 17 May, due to health reasons.
In an official statement shared via Weverse, YG revealed that Rami has been facing persistent health challenges and, following a medical evaluation, was advised to suspend all activities to undergo treatment and rest. Despite her strong determination to continue performing and her ongoing efforts to manage her condition while preparing for the tour, Rami’s symptoms have yet to show significant improvement.
“We came to this conclusion after multiple discussions with Rami, her family, and medical professionals,” the statement read. “It’s a heartbreaking decision, especially for Rami who wanted to keep her promise to fans. But ultimately, her health must come first.”

This marks the first major activity that Rami will be missing since BABYMONSTER’s highly-anticipated debut. The 16-year-old vocalist and dancer has quickly become a fan favourite for her stage presence and vocal tone, making the announcement an emotional moment for fans across the region.
The rest of the members—Ahyeon, Ruka, Pharita, Rora, Asa, and Chiquita—will carry on with the Asia tour. YG promised fans a revamped show featuring newly arranged performances and special cover stages exclusive to this leg of the tour, showcasing the group’s versatility even as a six-piece.
“Please send your warm support to Rami so she can recover fully and return to her fans in good health,” YG added.
BABYMONSTER kicked off their See You There fan meet tour earlier this month and are set to perform across multiple cities in Asia including Jakarta, Tokyo, and Bangkok.
