Kick off the month of August with the return of Bandwagon Presents x lyf on 1 August at SMU Labs from 7:30pm to 9pm

With the intention of supporting local communities in Singapore, the next Bandwagon Presents x lyf will feature an industry panel talk titled: lyf in Singapore's Music Industry – Behind the Scenes and How to Get In. The panel will feature Andrea Khoo (Assistant Director, National Arts Council), Erina Cook (Assistant Lead, Mediacorp Radio)Kevin Foo (Co-founder, Umami Records/Foundation Music), and Stephanie Lim (Singer, HubbaBubbas), and will be moderated by Bandwagon founderClarence Chan

Targeted at tertiary students, and those who are interested in joining Singapore's music industry in various capacities, the panel discussion looks to give interested parties an introduction to the industry, and how to be a part of its ecosystem. Other aspects they will explore include the ever-growing and evolving aspects of digital media and marketing, as well as tips on how to build a digital portfolio and more. 

This will be Bandwagon Presents' second industry talk, with the first taking place late last year at Temasek Polytechnic with over 80 attendees and industry guest speakers from Live Nation, Ebenex, Maker Records and M1LDL1FE. This time, attendees will also be given a chance to walk away with tickets to the premiere of Yesterday, the upcoming movie inspired by The Beatles, featuring Himesh Patel, Lily James, and Ed Sheeran. 

BANDWAGON TV

Fresh from a two-week performance trip to Korea, Singaporean Indie-pop trio HubbaBubbas will also be performing and showcasing songs such as their latest single, 'Sunset In My Pocket'. 

This is part of a collaboration between Bandwagon and lyf, a new co-living brand by The Ascott Limited. The first session was headlined by Singaporean rapper, Axel Brizzy, and R&B musician, YAØ.
