Singapore’s alternative music faithful have plenty to look forward to this September. Baybeats 2026 has unveiled its complete lineup for its 25th edition, happening from 3 – 6 September at Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay. The free festival will bring together 47 artists across indie rock, hardcore, metal, shoegaze, hip-hop, electronic music, and more.
Among the international and regional names heading to Singapore are Japan’s Boris, Coaltar of the Deepers, and the cabs, Austria’s Bilderbuch, the Netherlands’ Tramhaus, Indonesia’s The SIGIT and Perunggu, the Philippines’ Typecast and Gabba, South Korea’s Dabda, HOA, and BULGOGI DISCO, Thailand’s Soft Pine, India’s Bhayanak Maut, Taiwan’s Bugs of Phonon and Jhen Yue Tang, Hong Kong’s David Boring, Vietnam’s Rắn Cạp Đuôi Collective, and Malaysia’s Kias, Sweetass, and Tools of the Trade.

Flying the Singapore flag are Subsonic Eye, Disco Hue, The Observatory, Stopgap, FUSE, T-REX, Kin Leonn x pureblue Ensemble, Mediocre Haircut Crew, MUFF, Pretty Girls Cry, Soggy Jeans, Hidemen, enec.e, Says It All, T.HIRST, Spider, Tiramisu feat. The 25th edition continues Baybeats’ long-running mission of putting emerging homegrown acts alongside established names from Asia and beyond, while keeping the festival accessible with free admission.
