BE:FIRST are marking five years together with new music.

Released on 3 November, the Japanese dance and vocal group’s fourth album, BE:4U, brings together 13 tracks, including two new unit songs and a newly recorded version of ‘Mainstream’. Their first original album in nearly two years follows a series of milestones, including their US debut and first entry on the Billboard 200.

Leading the release is ‘NOW U KNOW’, an energetic hip-hop track that reflects on the six-member group’s journey and their ambitions for the future. MANATO contributed to the song, continuing BE:FIRST’s involvement in shaping their own music. The track arrives alongside an accompanying music video.

BE:4U also features ‘BE:FIRST ALL DAY’, a declaration of being BE:FIRST for life, and ‘Missing’, a bittersweet love song that marks their second collaboration with British DJ and producer Jonas Blue.

Other tracks include ‘It’s not a bad life’, the theme song for the film RYUJI 竜二, which features member JUNON; ‘街灯 Lighting up the town’, featured in FamilyMart’s Christmas campaign; and ‘H.A.R.E.’, a tie-up song for Suntory draft beer.

The album’s two unit songs showcase different combinations of members. ‘Diva’ brings together SHUNTO, MANATO, and JUNON, while ‘#Conbini’ features SOTA, RYUHEI, and LEO. Meanwhile, ‘for you’ was created by MANATO, JUNON, and LEO with producer Shintaro Yasuda. Every newly recorded song on the album carries credits from the members.

The LIVE editions include a second disc recorded at MTV Unplugged: BE:FIRST, held at PIA ARENA MM on 3 March.

The release rounds out a busy year for the group. In May, BE:FIRST held their first solo stadium shows, drawing a combined 100,000 attendees across two days. They went on to perform at Head In The Clouds LA 2026 in August and make their first appearance at Indonesia’s LaLaLa Festival.

Their global EP WATCH ME followed in September, marking their US debut and reaching No. 130 on the Billboard 200. The group also completed BE:FIRST WORLD SHOWCASE 2026, with performances in Bangkok, Taipei, and Manila, alongside two shows in New York.

Their anniversary celebrations will continue with BE:FIRST 5th Anniversary DOME TOUR 2027, featuring the following dates:

  • 11–12 January: Tokyo Dome, Tokyo
  • 13–14 February: Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka, Fukuoka
  • 6–7 March: Belluna Dome, Saitama
