Japan’s genre-defying supergroup BE:FIRST has released their new song, 'GRIT'. Fuelled by raw ambition and razor-sharp energy, the track dives deep into early 2000s hip-hop nostalgia — reimagined through a bold, modern lens. It reflects the group’s signature intensity and celebrates their evolution as artists stepping confidently onto the world stage. With aggressive beats, unapologetic lyrics, and attitude to match, BE:FIRST proves they’re not just following trends — they’re setting them.

The track was co-written by SKY-HI, Kavi (Tommy Richman, KenCarson, LUCKI), and Colby O'Donis (Usher, Lady Gaga, Kelly Rowland). The track was released with a music video, where the visuals blend global hip-hop influence with unique Japanese playfulness, aesthetic, and humour. Each member of BE:FIRST shines individually, and the video perfectly balances their distinct personalities with the strength and unity of the group.

In addition to 'GRIT', the single includes two other tracks: 'Muchu夢中', the theme song for Fuji TV’s drama Nami Uraraka ni, Meoto Biyori 波うららかに、めおと日和, and 'Loop 〜One of the BE:ST-03 RYUHEI〜', the third solo track in BE:FIRST’s member solo project series, following JUNON and LEO.

Currently on their first-ever world tour, BE:FIRST World Tour 2025 – Who is BE:FIRST?, which began in Los Angeles on 22 April and spans 12 performances across nine countries and regions, BE:FIRST is rapidly becoming one of Japan’s most exciting global acts. Stay tuned for more content related to "GRIT" and upcoming releases as the group continues to make waves on the world stage.
