With half-pints of beer and a selection of house-pour wines available at $5 around the clock as part of their happy hour (which runs all night long), it doesn't cost much to have a good night out. Some of the highly raved-about delicacies on their menu include Garlic Cockles and Spam Fries.

Molly Roffey's Irish Pub

Molly Roffey's Irish Pub plays host to live bands every Wednesday and Friday from 7:30pm. Inertia plays on Wednesdays while the Trella Trio play on Fridays. Music lovers who enjoy live music and good ole' pint of Guinness Draught.

Hood Bar & Cafe

Wala Wala Cafe Bar @ Holland Village

Holland Village is home to the famous Wala Wala Cafe Bar, quite possibly the best live music spot in Singapore. Wala Wala frequently boasts a slew of great live bands but the real treat is in the two staple bands that play the joint. 

Shirlyn and the UnXpected, along with Jack and Rai are known to play at Wala Wala and when they do, fans are in for a good night with their music, chicken and pizza. Oh, and the great beer of course. With Holland Village being near NUS, it's definitely a spot for music-loving students to hit up.
