Bestards (理想混蛋) are coming back to Singapore.
Following their sold-out show last year, the Taiwanese band will reunite with fans at The Theatre at Mediacorp on 18 December, 7:30PM. Presented by CK Star Entertainment, 《不是因为天气晴朗才见面》 (BESTORY) will also stop at Zepp Kuala Lumpur on 21 November before heading to Singapore.
Formed in 2017, Bestards comprise vocalist Kidding (鸡丁), guitarists Jerry (阿哲) and Dillion (建廷), and drummer Look (可沛). Their heartfelt songwriting has earned them a devoted following of “Little Bastards” (小混蛋), alongside a growing presence on Taiwan’s live music circuit.

The band’s best-known songs include ‘不是因为天气晴朗才爱你’ and ‘离开的一路上’ (‘Farewell’), which have surpassed 96 million and 58 million Spotify streams respectively. Bestards were also Spotify’s most-streamed band in Taiwan in 2024.
Their Singapore return follows the September release of their fourth full-length album, 偶像包袱 (MIMICRY). Arriving three years after their previous record, the album explores adulthood through questions of responsibility, expectations, identity, and life choices, expanding beyond the youth and romance that shaped their earlier work.
Among its tracks is ‘最后一个谎’ (‘One Last Bouquet’), written and composed by Kidding. Its music video crossed one million YouTube views within four days of release.
For the Singapore edition of BESTORY, fans can look forward to a mix of familiar favourites and new songs from MIMICRY.
