The announcement was made during the group’s historic performance at Coachella weekend two where leader G-Dragon addressed the crowd. Marking the milestone, he shared that the group is entering a new chapter, describing the anniversary as a “restart” while affirming that BIGBANG will continue forward.

The upcoming release will be BIGBANG’s latest project as they celebrate two decades since debut, with the group currently active as a trio comprising G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung after T.O.P had announced that he would not be returning for the group's comeback, to focus on his solo career.

With a new album completed and a global tour set to begin in August, BIGBANG’s 20th anniversary plans are shaping up to be one of the group’s most significant chapters yet, as they prepare to bring their music back to stages around the world.
