The rush for BIGBANG tickets in Singapore is well underway — and fans are facing massive virtual queues and soaring third-party booking fees.
Tickets for BIGBANG's XX: COSMOS concert in Singapore on 17 October began rolling out with the official VIP membership pre-sale on 11 August. According to CNA Lifestyle, the virtual queue crossed 300,000 on its first day, while checks across fan groups and social media saw some queue numbers exceeding 500,000.
The VIP membership pre-sale eventually sold out at around 3:30 PM.
The huge demand has also driven up prices for third-party Help-To-Buy (HTB) services. According to The Straits Times, some providers are charging between S$110 and S$750 to help fans secure tickets, on top of official ticket prices.
HTB services essentially act as personal ticket shoppers, joining online queues and attempting to purchase tickets on a fan's behalf. Customers are typically refunded if the service is unsuccessful.
One HTB provider attributed the higher rates to the volume of users competing for tickets and the technological infrastructure required during the sale. Another pointed to BIGBANG's longtime fanbase — many of whom are now working adults — as well as the scarcity of having only one Singapore date announced so far.
Resale listings have also begun surfacing. The Straits Times reported that shortly after the VIP pre-sale opened, one Carousell listing offered a pair of VIP Diamond tickets, originally priced at S$458 each, for S$3,000.
BIGBANG's Singapore concert will mark the group's first performance in the country in a decade. G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung last performed together in Singapore during their Made VIP fan meeting tour in 2016.
The trio are also gearing up to release their new single, 'Biiig', on 19 August, their first release since 'Still Life' in 2022.

Their XX: COSMOS world tour will kick off with three nights at Goyang Stadium in South Korea from 21 to 23 August, before heading to cities across the United States, Europe, and Asia.
Tickets to BIGBANG's Singapore show are priced from S$158 to S$498.
