Black Country, New Road are finally heading to Singapore for their highly anticipated debut show, happening on 16 December at *SCAPE The Ground Theatre. The six-piece English outfit have carved out a cult following for their relentless sonic evolution. From their Mercury Prize-nominated debut For the First Time, blending post-rock, jazz, and klezmer, to the orchestral indie sweep of Ants From Up There, Black Country, New Road have never been ones to repeat themselves. When frontman Isaac Wood stepped away in 2022, the band didn’t pause—they wrote a completely new set of songs, leading to Live at Bush Hall, hailed by The Guardian as “a magical resurgence” in a rare five-star review.
Now, they’re back with their third studio album Forever Howlong, released on 4 April. It’s yet another stunning reinvention, trading past turbulence for lush, baroque-pop textures and a shared vocal approach.
