BLACKPINK release new single 'Ready for Love' with virtual music video – watch

BLACKPINK's 'Ready for Love' is finally here.

On 29 July (Friday), the award-winning K-pop quartet premiered the virtual music video for their latest single 'Ready for Love' with PUBG Mobile. The visual features avatar versions of the 'How You Like That' act and is the group's first official release in nearly two years.

Fans got an early peek of 'Ready for Love' in October 2020, when the trailer for Netflix's BLACKPINK documentary LIGHT UP THE SKY came out.

The BLACKPINK X PUBG Mobile 2022-In Game Concert: THE VIRTUAL, where BLACKPINK debuted 'Ready for Love' last weekend, will be available to stream again on 29-30 July in North America and 30-31 July globally.

Earlier this month, YG Entertainment announced that the 'Lovesick Girls' act were already in the "final stages of recording a new album." The upcoming record, which is part of a large-scale project for BLACKPINK, will be released in August.

"A lot of BLACKPINK-esque music has been prepared over a long period of time. On top of new music and large-scale projects, BLACKPINK will also go on the largest world tour in the history of a K-pop girl group by the end of the year to expand their rapport with fans worldwide," said YG Entertainment.
