JENNIE is taking her relationship with adidas to the next level.
After years of fronting campaigns and representing the brand as an ambassador, the global artist has stepped into the role of co-designer for her first collaborative collection with adidas Originals. adidas Originals by JENNIE launches globally on 1 September.
Built around the concept of "Functional Grace", the collection brings together the softness and precision of ballet with adidas' performance-inspired design language. JENNIE's take adds a futuristic edge, balancing graceful silhouettes with pieces designed for everyday wear.
“With this collaboration, I wanted to reinterpret the classic identity of adidas Originals through my own perspective and energy,” JENNIE shared. “My goal was to bring together the softness and restraint found in ballet, as well as the strength behind it, with the feeling of an endless and unknown space.”
That idea extends to the collection's Cosmic Ballerina: Kinematics campaign, which places ballet-inspired movement in a dreamlike environment influenced by the cosmos. The concept transforms ballet from a visual reference into an expression of strength, freedom, and possibility.
At the centre of the collection is the SUPERSTAR SQ BALLET, JENNIE's reinterpretation of the adidas Superstar. Inspired by the shape of a ballet pointe shoe, the footwear features a squared toe, premium leather upper, lambskin lining, ribbon detailing, and removable laces for different styling options.
The collection also features reworked track tops and pants, layering T-shirts, wrap skirts, knit wrap cardigans, sheer sleeveless bodysuits and leggings, as well as polar fleece half-zip hoodies. High-knit leg warmers and cut-out socks round out the ballet-informed wardrobe.
The adidas Originals by JENNIE FW26 collection will be available from 1 September via the adidas CONFIRMED app, select retailers, and the following adidas stores in Singapore:
