LISA is bringing her story to the big screen.
The BLACKPINK member's upcoming documentary, Always Lalisa, will open in IMAX and cinemas worldwide for a limited theatrical run beginning 12 October, Sony Music Vision announced. The film will later make its global streaming debut exclusively on YouTube Premium.
Directed by Sue Kim, Always Lalisa follows a pivotal year in LISA's life as she steps away from BLACKPINK for a year to pursue her own path. The documentary charts the Thai superstar's experiences launching her solo career, venturing into acting, building her brand, and navigating a personal life beyond the spotlight — all before returning to the group.

The film arrives during a packed chapter in LISA's career. She made her acting debut in The White Lotus, performed as a solo artist at Coachella, and became the first female K-pop and Thai artist to perform at a FIFA World Cup opening ceremony, where she performed 'Goals' alongside Anitta and Rema.
LISA is also gearing up to release her upcoming EP, PRESS PLAY, on 23 October, with its first single, 'SaWaDika', arriving on 3 September.
Before its worldwide theatrical release, Always Lalisa will make its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Tickets for the limited cinema engagement go on sale on 9 September, with cinema listings and further details available via the film's official website.
