LISA has another YouTube milestone under her belt.
The BLACKPINK member's latest solo music video, 'SaWaDiKa', surpassed 100 million views on YouTube just over 48 hours after its release on 3 September.
The feat makes 'SaWaDiKa' the fastest music video to reach 100 million views this year, as well as the second-fastest music video by a solo artist to hit the mark. The record is topped by LISA's own solo debut, 'LALISA'.
'SaWaDiKa' had already amassed 70.8 million views within its first 24 hours, marking the biggest 24-hour music video debut of the year and the second-biggest 24-hour debut by a soloist in YouTube history.
The track also debuted at number 13 on Spotify's Daily Global Chart with 2.787 million streams.
Named after the Thai greeting “Sawatdee ka”, 'SaWaDiKa' puts LISA's Thai roots front and centre, with its music video featuring Muay Thai references, tuk-tuks, Thai-inspired imagery, choreography, and elaborate styling.
