LISA is stepping into the action spotlight. The BLACKPINK superstar has officially joined the cast of TYGO, a new Korean spin-off in Netflix’s Extraction universe — marking her first major Korean film role.
TYGO will see LISA star alongside Korean action legend Don Lee (Train to Busan, The Roundup) and Lee Jin-uk (Sweet Home, Squid Game) in a high-stakes thriller that puts a Korean spin on the globally popular franchise.
LISA plays Ria — the closest companion of mercenary Tygo, played by Don Lee. Her kidnapping sets off a tense rescue mission, forming the emotional core of the story.
Sharing her excitement, LISA said, “I’m so honored to be a part of this project and grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such incredible actors. Being in an action film has always been a dream of mine, and for my first movie role to be in such an exciting action film is a dream come true.”
Directed by Lee Sang-yong (known for The Roundup films) and with action sequences by Heo Myeong-haeng, TYGO is co-produced by AGBO (the Russo brothers’ studio) and Korean production companies Big Punch Pictures, Nova Film, and B&C Content.
Don Lee, who also serves as producer, said the team “can’t wait to unleash its explosive energy on audiences worldwide.”

AGBO executive Angela Russo-Otstot added that they’re “thrilled to explore the world of Extraction through a Korean lens,” suggesting a fresh direction for the expanding franchise.
TYGO marks LISA’s most ambitious screen role yet. Already a powerhouse in music and fashion, this film positions her for a bold crossover into global cinema — and offers fans a completely new way to see her.
With production underway and hype building fast, TYGO is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Netflix releases on the horizon. No official release date has been announced, but all eyes are on this explosive new chapter in the Extraction universe.
