ROSÉ is ready to show fans a 'new trick'.
The BLACKPINK member has teased her upcoming solo single which is set to arrive on 17 September at 7 PM ET. The track will be accompanied by a music video directed by Dave Meyers and filmed entirely on Apple's newly unveiled iPhone 18 Pro.

A teaser shared by ROSÉ and Apple offers a brief preview of the track, with the singer holding a purple-burgundy lollipop wrapped with the words "new trick". Sonically, the snippet introduces distorted electric guitar and layered vocals, hinting at a punchier side to ROSÉ's solo sound.
The release also marks ROSÉ's appearance in Apple's latest Shot on iPhone campaign. Previous instalments have featured music videos from The Weeknd, Olivia Rodrigo, and Lady Gaga.

Meyers, who has previously directed music videos for Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, and Kendrick Lamar, helmed the upcoming visual using the iPhone 18 Pro's camera system.
'new trick' follows ROSÉ's debut studio album, rosie, released in December 2024. The record featured her Bruno Mars collaboration 'APT.', which peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100.
