BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez break YouTube with 'ICE CREAM' music video – watch

BLACKPINK have broken the internet once more.

In the countdown leading to the premiere of 'Ice Cream,' the K-Pop act's first collaboration with Selena Gomez, YouTube servers slowed down with the influx of viewers anticipating the drop on Friday afternoon (08/28).

Thousands of fans who tuned in took to the comments section of the video and social media to express their dismay that the video stopped buffering during the countdown. Prior to its official release, the teaser for the video garnered over 13.2 million views within its first 24 hours, making it the biggest music video teaser by a girl group.

For some fans, it began playing a few seconds into the video smoothly. The vibrant visual sees BLACKPINK and Gomez surrounded by bubblegum pink, kitties, a surprise capybara, and all things cute and happy.

'Ice Cream,' which was co-written by Ariana Grande and produced by TEDDY, 24, Tommy Brown, and Mr. Franks, follows the release of Blackpink's 'How You Like That' and 'Sour Candy' with Lady Gaga.

BLACKPINK's highly anticipated debut album is scheduled for release on October 2, 2020 via YG Entertainment. Pre-order the album and exclusive merch here.
