There's "more blood to spill" on Blue Eye Samurai.
On 12 December (Tuesday), Netflix confirmed the continuation of the Edo-period Japan animated series with a second season, following its premiere in November.

"When we started this project, we made a commitment to take this very personal story set in Edo-period Japan and bring it to life in the most authentic and beautiful way possible," co-creators Amber Noizumi and Michael Green say in a joint statement. "Our animators, historians, musicians, martial artists and voice cast made this a reality beyond our expectations."
In their statement, they share their thanks to their team and the viewers of the 2D/3D hybrid animation style series. "Mizu has a lot more blood to spill! We are deeply grateful to our incredible partners at Netflix for letting the journey continue."
