A brand-new music and arts festival is set to light up Singapore. Somewhere Out There will debut on 16 August at Fort Canning Park, running from 2PM to 10:30PM. The outdoor event promises a bold, sensory playground of music, art, and community — all brought together by award-winning event agency Fabrik Asia, known for producing shows with Boiler Room, Jamie XX, and Black Coffee in Singapore.

Leading the festival’s first edition is none other than Bonobo, the GRAMMY-nominated DJ and producer celebrated for his genre-blurring sound that fuses electronica, soul, and experimental bass. Returning to Singapore for the first time since his headline set at Laneway Festival in 2018, Bonobo will take centre stage at the Evermore Stage, the symbolic heart of the festival designed as a sonic tree of unity.

Festival-goers can also immerse themselves in underground sounds at the Roots Stage, which celebrates homegrown collectives like Blackout Agency, GrooveTop, Last Saturdays, Ice Cream Sundays, and Soul Collective. Meanwhile, the Canopy Stage, co-curated with Wild Pearl Studio, offers a safe space for expression and self-discovery through music, movement, and wellness.

Beyond the music, attendees can explore interactive art installations around the Evermore Tree, brought to life by visual artists like Erikartoon, Tasha and Alysha, glitter queen Polina Korobova, and fashion designer Putri Adif. Add to that an eclectic food village showcasing Singapore’s creative culinary scene, and you’ve got the makings of an unforgettable day out.

Backed by main sponsor RaveDAO, Somewhere Out There promises to be more than a festival — it’s a call to reconnect through rhythm, art, and community. With more acts, wellness programmes, and surprises to be announced, this is one event you won’t want to miss.

Tickets are now on sale, with limited early bird passes available at SGD 98. Once early bird tiers sell out, prices will move to SGD 108 for not-so-early bird tickets, and SGD 128 for regular admission. Each ticket includes a complimentary can of Heineken Silver. Prices exclude booking and service fees. Festival-goers are encouraged to secure their tickets early via sotfestival.com before they’re gone.
