Lines like “Can’t sleep, can’t eat, staring blankly into space all day” and “I’m going crazy thinking about you” reflect the intensity of yearning that lingers long after someone has gone.
Though completed in March, frontman Brando revisited the vocals at home, recording in complete darkness to capture the raw emotion he envisioned — an intimate process that left him in tears. That vulnerability lies at the heart of the track, turning his private moment of exhaustion into something deeply human.
“To be honest, quitting music crossed my mind,” he shares. “I was tired — I just wanted a simple life, a steady 9-to-5. ‘Hatid-Sundo’ didn’t even mean much to me at first. I wrote the line "I’m going crazy thinking about you…" in the middle of a panic attack. It was really a question for myself — How long will all my problems go on? But somehow, the melody stayed with me. The idea grew, and the song found me again."
What began as fatigue evolved into a story about persistence and rediscovering love — not just for someone, but for music itself. 'Hatid-Sundo' marks Brando Bal’s evolution while staying grounded in their emotional, melodic sound.
