It’s been a long time coming — Bright Eyes are set to perform in Singapore for the very first time. On 27 November, the legendary indie trio of Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis, and Nate Walcott will bring their poetic melancholy and sweeping soundscapes to the Capitol Theatre, one of the city’s most atmospheric venues.

Formed in the mid-‘90s, Bright Eyes earned cult status with albums like I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning and Fevers and Mirrors, blending Oberst’s soul-baring songwriting with intricate folk-rock and experimental flourishes. Their music has been a constant companion for misfits and romantics, soundtracking heartbreak, existential dread, and fleeting hope.
Though they took a break after 2011’s The People’s Key, Bright Eyes returned in full force with a reunion tour and new music in 2020, reminding fans just how vital their presence still is.
Singapore fans have waited years for this, and the band’s debut here promises to be an emotional, unforgettable night. Tickets go on sale 18 June at 12 PM SGT over at Symmetry Entertainment. Those subscribed to Symmetry’s Telegram channel will receive a secret early bird promo code ahead of the public sale.
UPDATE:
The venue has been changed to *SCAPE The Ground Theatre.
