BTS' 'Butter' returns to the top spot on Billboard's Hot Trending Songs chart

BTS' 'Butter' is back on top!

After the seven-week strong chart-topping performance by SB19's 'Bazinga' (which has dropped down to second place), the GRAMMY-nominated pop hit has returned to the number 1 spot on Billboard's Hot Trending Songs chart. The feat now ties the Korean global superstars with the rising Filipino pop group for most weeks at number 1 with seven weeks apiece. BTS and SB19 are the only two acts in the chart's history to get to number 1.

Powered by 9.7 million Twitter mentions in the latest tracking week (21 - 27 January), the record-breaking track claims its first week back on the top of the chart since December 2021. The smooth, dance-pop hit was also named as one of Bandwagon's Best Songs of 2021: "With everything you want (and need) in a pop hit, 'Butter' is definitely Song of the Year."
