K-pop acts are set to make history at Lollapalooza this year.

BTS member j-hope is set to headline the Sunday lineup of the Chicago-based music festival, making it his first official solo outing. Joining the likes of Green Day, The Kid Laroi, Jane's Addiction, Charli XCX, and more, the pop superstar's highly-anticipated performance will mark the first time a South Korean artist will headline a US music festival.

In an Instagram post, j-hope shares how his upcoming headlining performance will be "a thrilling new challenge" that "will become a memorable chapter" in his musical history. "Get ready to get crazyyyyyy!"

BANDWAGON TV

4th gen K-pop group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) will also take the Lollapalooza stage on Saturday, marking their first US festival appearance.

Lollapalooza is happening on 28-31 July 2022 at Grant Park in Chicago. Tickets start at USD 125, get it here.
