BTS just wrapped up their first in-person concert in Seoul since 2019.

Performing to a crowd of 15,000 fans (the largest concert audience in Korea since the pandemic began), the global superstars found themselves back "home" with ARMYs – both at Jamsil Olympic Stadium and across the globe via their online livestream.

Showcasing a more dynamic set design and vibrant outfits for this leg of the PTD ON STAGE tour, BTS powered through over 20 songs including 'ON', 'Black Swan,' 'Fire,' 'DNA,' 'Life Goes On,' 'Boy With Luv,' 'Butter,' 'Dynamite,' 'Home,' and 'Permission To Dance'.

Despite the no cheering rule, fans proved that "nothing has changed" in the last 2 1/2 years since they met in person, and enthusiastically showed their support by clapping and waving their ARMY BOMBS for RM, Jin, SUGA, J-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.

From the clappers and slogans to ARMYs' birthday surprise for SUGA, here's how BTS' first reunion with their Korean fans unfolded on Twitter.

Fans trooped to the venue early to claim their wristbands, and check out what was happening around the stadium.

Fans showed off their slogans which read “Thankfully, between you and me nothing has changed,” one of SUGA's lines from 'Life Goes On'. The slogans, when folded, are also used as clappers for cheering on the 'Butter' hitmakers.

Even before the show started, the area surrounding the stadium was as festive as ever, with loads of freebies for attendees, as well as carefully chosen outfits by fans to show their support for their faves.

ARMYs at home joined the festivities by preparing their own concert meals, as well as ARMY Bombs and BT21 characters.

BTS also took part in the pre-show hype by sharing group photos after soundcheck.

During the show, fans were left stunned by the even-more impressive stages - no more "lonely whale," stellar performances, costume changes, and heartfelt messages.

To celebrate SUGA's birthday, fans also prepared a birthday surprise to make the much-awaited reunion even more special.

As they wrapped up Day 1 of their 3-night concert series, the group thanked their fans and expressed their joy and gratitude for being able to meet each other after waiting for so long. BTS leader RM closed the evening by saying how meaningful it was to sing 'Home' in Seoul, because "This is my real home."

After the show, the members took to Twitter to share their love and to remind fans to dress for the cold, and to look forward to the next concerts.

BTS' PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - SEOUL concert series continues on 12 March (global live-viewing) and 13 March (available to stream via VenewLive).
