Coachella 2027 could be bringing some massive names to the desert.
Tame Impala, Dua Lipa, and Fred again.. are reportedly being lined up for the festival, while BTS, SZA, Oasis, and Radiohead are among the acts being considered for major slots.
According to HITS Daily Double, Tame Impala and Dua Lipa are expected to headline the upcoming edition of Coachella, with Fred again.. reportedly taking the festival's special dance music slot at the bottom of the lineup poster.
Tame Impala's return would follow a particularly big run for Kevin Parker's project. The act recently wrapped the North American leg of its Deadbeat tour and, according to HITS, has seen increased mainstream visibility with 'Dracula', featuring JENNIE, and 'Loser'.
The Australian outfit has plenty of history with Coachella, having performed at the festival in 2011, 2013, and 2015 before headlining in 2019.
Dua Lipa, meanwhile, has yet to perform a full solo set at Coachella. She previously appeared as a guest during Martin Garrix's set in 2017. HITS reports that her team has been discussing a potential booking with the festival for some time.
Fred again.. is also no stranger to the desert. The producer previously joined Skrillex and Four Tet for an impromptu headlining set during Coachella's second weekend in 2023, replacing Frank Ocean.
One major question remains: who else could join them?
HITS reports that Coachella organiser Goldenvoice is actively pursuing BTS, who are currently playing a four-night run at Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium.
SZA, Oasis, and Radiohead are also reportedly being considered for prominent placement on the festival lineup, although HITS claims SZA is currently much more likely than Oasis or Radiohead.
Miley, formerly known as Miley Cyrus, was reportedly sought for a headline slot but has turned down the offer.
Coachella 2027 is scheduled to return to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, across 9 to 11 April and 16 to 18 April.
