BTS are launching their own Apple Music 1 show.
In an announcement made on 26 May, the streaming service revealed that they will be airing a new limited three-episode show that stars the renowned pop group. Titled BTS Radio: Past and Present, the award-winning act is said to take audiences through their musical journey, from K-pop trainees to the global sensation they are today.
The show will air weekly, leading up to the release of BTS' highly anticipated anthology album, Proof. The first episode will premiere on 28 May at 6 AM PDT (10 PM KST, 9 PM PHT/SGT), while the second and third episodes will air on 3 June and 10 June respectively.
Through BTS Radio: Past and Present, BTS will be sharing the stories and experiences that shaped them, as well as the songs that helped the members get through their nine-year career.
The first episode will take us to the very beginning of BTS with the songs that inspired their sound and style, while the second episode sees the group pick out some of ARMY's favourite songs. The final episode will see BTS share how they achieved their global success.
“We wanted to use this radio show to celebrate nine years of BTS with you guys and with our ARMY all over the world,” said RM in an official statement. “Every episode is dedicated to you and we wanted to share the BTS songs that help tell our story.”
BTS' Proof is set for release this 10 June 2022.
