BTS are officially back — and they’re taking over the world stage with a landmark live-streamed event, a new album, and a Netflix-exclusive documentary.

On 21 March, BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG will stream live from Gwanghwamun, Seoul’s historic heart, exclusively on Netflix at 8 PM KST. The performance marks the band’s first global comeback stage since their hiatus — and celebrates the release of their new album ARIRANG, dropping 20 March.

Filmed at one of South Korea’s most symbolic sites, the show is set to be a visually stunning celebration of culture, roots, and BTS’ next chapter. The performance also marks the beginning of a major new partnership between HYBE and Netflix, promising more global access to BTS content.

BTS’ fifth studio album, ARIRANG, is described as a deeply personal and reflective record — one that explores the group’s identity, cultural heritage, and artistic evolution. The album’s name references the beloved Korean folk song 'Arirang', suggesting themes of longing, unity, and homecoming.

The live stream will be followed by BTS: The Return, a Netflix-exclusive documentary dropping 27 March. The film promises a rare behind-the-scenes look into the making of ARIRANG — from the creative process to the emotional journeys of each member.

After the album’s release, BTS will launch the ARIRANG World Tour, spanning 82 shows across 34 regions — from Asia to the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and beyond. The tour will run through 2026–2027, making it one of the biggest K-pop tours ever announced.
