C3 Anime Festival Asia 2019 announces Singapore line-up – Maaya Uchida, JUNNA, ReoNa and more to perform

C3 Anime Festival Asia (C3 AFA), Southeast Asia's biggest and most prestigious Japanese pop culture convention returns to Singapore this November and December, and the organisers have announced the highly anticipated event's programming. 

The 2019 edition, themed AFA Airways, will see dedicated zones for gaming, film, and competitions added to the already expansive range of programming, offering anime fans and Japanese pop culture enthusiasts three amazing days of exclusive content and unique experiences direct from Japan.

Mr. Shawn Chin, Managing Director of SOZO, and organiser of the convention said in a press release: "C3 AFA Singapore 2019 promises to continue its legacy to bring alive the most loved contents made possible through exclusive and international access of music cosplayers, voice actors, producers, creators and publishers behind some of the biggest titles of the season."

Making its return to this year's convention, will be the Day Stage, a key festival highlight, that will play host to special anime screenings, showcases, talk shows and guest appearances throughout the day.

Another major highlight that will return to C3 AFA Singapore 2019, is the beloved I Love Anisong music festival. I Love Anisong 2019, one of the most-anticipated Japanese music festivals of the year, will be the first of its kind in the region, with nine hours of concerts by 12 solo artists and groups belting out anime music.

The stacked line-up will include returning performers, as well as musicians making their debuts in Singapore. This year's musical line-up will include the likes of Ayaka Ohashi, Azusa Tadokoro, BLUE ENCOUNT, fhána, JUNNA, Maaya Uchida, May'n, Minori Chihara, MYTH & ROID, ReoNa, SCANDAL and TRUE.

The C3 AFA Singapore 2019 convention is set to take place from 29 November to 1 December at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre (Levels 3 & 4) from 10AM till 8PM daily. Get your tickets here
