Veteran Cantopop singer-songwriter, producer, and actor George Lam is heading back to Singapore.

The 76-year-old Hong Kong artist will be staging a concert, titled One Night with George Lam, at Marina Bay Sands' Sands Grand Ballroom on 28 April as part of the integrated resort's Sands Live series.

Since its introduction in 2014, Sands Live has brought music fans closer to big-name international acts such as The Rolling Stones, Michael Bublé, Celine Dion, and Aaron Kwok.

During his fourth Singapore visit, Lam, who has been dubbed "Iron Lung" due to his vocal prowess, will present live renditions of evergreen numbers from his extensive catalogue, which includes more than 40 albums in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

The evening's setlist will also include the 'In the Middle of The Water (在水中央)' singer's more recent releases.

The Golden Needle Award and TVB Lifetime Achievement Award recipient will be joined on stage by his fellow Cantopop star and wife Sally Yeh, who will be the show's special guest performer.

In addition to being behind acclaimed tracks such as 'Heartbroken in the Past (曾经心痛)' and 'A Woman’s Tears (女人的眼泪)', the 62-year-old has released a duet with Lam, titled 'My Choice (天长地久)'.

Tickets to Lam's Singapore concert are now available from SGD 88 via Marina Bay Sands' official website. Sands LifeStyle members are entitled to a 10% discount when they make their purchases.
