The Capitol Jazz Club is officially open, bringing an elevated, up-close jazz experience to Singapore’s historic Capitol Theatre.

A collaboration between Vamp Productions, Kempinski Hotel Singapore, and Capitol Theatre, this new venue transforms the Galleria Room on level 3 into a refined speakeasy-style jazz listening room every week. The vibe? Intimate, elegant, and laser-focused on sound and atmosphere — no distractions, just pure live music magic.

Inspired by New York’s revered jazz listening rooms, The Capitol Jazz Club puts the music centre stage — literally. The small-room format brings audiences and artists face-to-face, creating a uniquely immersive environment that’s all about the music.

Guests can also expect top-tier service, thanks to a cocktail programme by Kempinski Hotel. The bar offers a menu of classic drinks served with precision, crafted to complement the evening’s music without overpowering the experience.

February Opening Lineup

To kick things off, the club has lined up three heavyweight jazz acts for February:

  • 6 & 7 February – Natasha Oong
Thailand’s top jazz vocalist brings her crystal-clear voice and Brazilian rhythm mastery.

  • 12, 13 & 14 February – Gregg Arthur
The suave Australian baritone offers timeless interpretations of the Great American Songbook.

  • 27 & 28 February – Alemay Fernandez
Singapore’s own jazz luminary, known for her commanding stage presence and international credentials.

This launch continues Vamp Productions mission to shape Singapore’s live music scene, adding fresh life to one of its most iconic cultural landmarks. From promoting soul nights at Cool Cats to classy showcases at The Lobby Lounge, Vamp is known for curating high-artistry experiences — and The Capitol Jazz Club looks to be no different.
