Korean alternative pop trailblazers Catch The Young are back to mark a milestone moment in their career as they unveil their debut full-length album EVOLVE. Staying true to the name of the album, the 14-song tracklist depicts the band’s evolution and growth since their debut in 2023.

Sticking with their authentic “youth pop-rock,” the band has been a prominent pillar in representing the up-and-coming generation of youths advocating for freedom and fun. EVOLVE sticks to the fundamental core of the message as it delves into youth’s hidden sides, examining emotional scars, anxiety, personal growth, hope, and ultimately rebirth.

Leader and bassist of Catch The Young, Sani, expresses his excitement for the release of the album as he shares, “Catch The Young’s first full-length album, EVOLVE, is finally out! We have prepared a lot for this album, so we’ll showcase our best selves that we haven’t shared yet, and we hope you look forward to it. We also promise that we’ll visit and meet many fans overseas this year!”

At the heart of the record lies the title track ‘Amplify’. The song echoes the determination, energy, and passion that the band has, as they strive to “amplify” their music and shout their meaningful message loud and proud for the masses, even when there are obstacles stopping them from reaching uncharted heights. The music video sees them as they rock out to the track repeating the chorus that chants inspirational lyrics such as, "...Go beyond the limit, Amplify,' and '...Erase all the fear, Amplify'.

The record also features solo vocal tracks from Catch The Young’s Sani with ‘28 Hours’, main vocalist Namhyun’s ‘I’m Already In Love With You’, and keyboardist and vocalist Junyong’s ‘Reperio’. Sani’s track ‘28 Hours’ zeroes in on the hours after dark where you’re left tossing and turning in bed, overthinking the future and its dark aura of uncertainty. Namhyun’s ‘I’m Already In Love With You’ pivots from the mellow tone of Sani’s track, depicting the rush of romance and how it can give you the shot of excitement you need to keep going throughout the day. Lastly, Junyong’s ‘Reperio’ encourages listeners to seize the day and take charge of the moment to make the most of it.

The album also features ‘To You, Standing Before Me’, which expresses gratitude to their fans, before closing with a new remix of Catch The Young’s first instrumental track from 2025, ‘The Young Wave (2026 Remix)’.

“We’ve been waiting to release our first full-length album, and now we’re very excited, thrilled, and nervous about it at the same time. More than anything, I’m glad that Catch The Young has improved further as a band, and I hope you listen to our new album a lot!” muses Junyong.

EVOLVE marks a defining moment for Catch The Young, capturing their growth, passion, and unwavering energy as a band. From introspective solo tracks to anthems of determination and gratitude, the album celebrates youth, resilience, and connection with fans old and new. With this release, Catch The Young not only cements their place in the alternative pop scene but also invites listeners to join them on their journey as EVOLVE, ‘Amplify’, and embrace every moment together.
